Perfect weather, 33C everyday - perfect sunshine. Great hosts as well - they really pay attention to their establishment and guests. There is a small "variety" store on the road in for must haves. And very good grocery shopping in Coronado @ Rey's on the main highway (next to McDonalds). There are good restaurants in the area as well. Thanks for the great visit!! Brent

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. Right on the beach, close to Coronado,clean and safe. We didn't want to leave. The owner makes you feel at home and has lots of helpful tips on where to eat and places to see. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Great beach and condo. Very clean and functional. Beautiful view of the water. But what really makes this place special is the hosts. The setting also encourages guests to interact with each other which also made the place special. Strongly recommend this place for mature travelers looking for a beautiful beach setting.

“Suite Sweetness” January 2016
Gorgeous views of what felt like a private beach. The beach was perfect for walking, running, swimming and at low tide exploring tide pools. The beach extends for 2 1/2 miles of beautiful smooth sandy beach. At low tide the beach is not swimmable but instead of this being a hindrance to an enjoyable day it opens up tide pools and other beaches around the corner. The condo it's self is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. The views from the balcony were postcard worthy and the outdoor shower was amazing. The hosts were perfect both thoughtful and knowledgeable. One night we had a bonfire on the beach. I give the highest recommend to Suites of the Beach.

“Total Paradise” January 2015
We loved this place!! Where else can you crack a beer and go swimming with it? This is a totally hidden gem!! The property is fantastic, right on a secluded beach, the apartment is fully equipped with anything you may need. The hosts are wonderful--what else is there to say-except you have to experience this place yourself. Excellent!! We were there for only one month but could easily stayed three.

Amazing Amazing, our stay was completely Amazing the entire experience the room was fabulous the views were incredible, the beach was beautiful!! we had complete privacy Silvard was always available if we had any needs. We fully recomend staying in the Honeymoon suite my wife and I had our honeymoon of dreams thanks to our wonderful hosts.
The property is as advertised, it was a breath taking experience!!!

“Real ocean front luxury!” July 2015
We spent three nights there and did most of our own cooking while watching the tide come and go. A great place to come back to after exploring Coronado just a few kilometers down the road.
The rooms are large and airy with plenty of light in the modern setting.
Our hosts were even kind enough to join us on our veranda and show and share the fine points of rum tasting. Great time!

Suites on the beach is a treasure, with ultimate hosts!! Where else can you swim, drink beer and eat hamburgers with the owner? We stayed for the month of Jan 2015 and loved it. They have such knowledge of he area we never felt lost. The owners love Panama and now we love it too. When it gets too hot you grab a beer and go for a swim with your host/hostess. If they are not available there i s a great BBQ just outside your door and many good places to eat nearby. I/we highly recommend suites on the beach. You will love it, the people, the ocean, the beach, all of it.

“Suites on the Beach are Perfect in Panama” April 2015
This was our first trip to Panama & staying at Suites on The Beach & meeting the genuinely friendly owners made our trip more memorable than we could have imagined. Our suite was clean,modern & tastefully decorated. The spectacular ocean view and listening to waves crashing onto the shore created a peaceful and relaxing destination. The hosts treated us as family and were a wealth of knowledge of the lifestyle, local dining to try and day trip destinations. The owner assisted us in getting a local rental car, which is necessary to see the countryside. Casa Caracol is a first class destination & we highly recommend it if it is your first trip to Panama or if you live in Panama and are looking for a great weekend get away.

“A Great Winter Escape” February 2015
Annually we look for a warm and sunny escape for a month away from the cold, harsh Canadian Winter. Our destination this year was Suites on the beach in Playa Corona, Panama and what an excellent choice it was! Our hosts were gracious, welcoming us to their paradise and treating us like family. February went by far too quickly with hiking trips to El Valle, Altos de Campana and Gamboa , daytrips into Panama City visiting Ancon Hill , Milaflores lock and Casco Viejo, golfing at Bijao, a Barefoot Jungle day cruise, moonlight dinner at the Coranado Beach Club, a visit to Carnival in Penonome and many trips into the countryside including the Azuero Peninsula. That still left ample time for walking the beach collecting shells, swimming and just sitting on the balcony taking in the breath taking views. The apartments are clean, modern, and very nicely decorated with everything you will need for a short or extended stay...love the outdoor shower! One of the highlights of our visit was sitting on the patio with a full moon rising out of the ocean, sipping wine and enjoying the nice temperature! It was a great month ! Thank you to our Hosts.

“Wonderful” March 2015
We are in the middle of a two week stay at Suites on the beach en route from Panama City, Bocas del Toro and Boquete - total stay in Panama is a month. My one bedroom unit is nicely appointed and very comfortable - the bathroom and kitchen finished in high quality decor. The appliances and utensils leave nothing wanting. The beds are very comfortable with nice quality linens and quality towels. The internet is robust and stable - we channel surfed only and I was amazed at the selection of TV stations in English & Spanish (HBO, MAX, CNN, Disney etc). We have a fantastic patio overlooking a world class yet seemingly deserted 3-4 km beach offering great swimming, long walks and unbelievably consistant weather. In low tide (daily) beaches around the corners become accessible for exploring and you can walk all day. The owners are great, helpful and engaging. A car is useful for access to this property - you can likely get cabs from Panama City but a car will open your experience to visit great sites an hour or so from the property in and around Cocle province such as El Valle, Punta Chame and Farrallon. This is a safe and very accessable area with modern shopping and atm banking just 20 minutes down the Pan American Hwy.

“The best Place to stay-" Exceptional"” December 2014
From the moment we were picked up at the airport by our host we felt comfortable.
The drive to Casa Caracol was great with commentary along the route. Our host was also kind enough to let us pick up some food supplies at an American Style grocery store which was great.
Once we arrived at Casa Caracol his wife Barb greeted us and showed us all the amenities of the villa.To say the least were more than pleased with our choice of the one bedroom unit.
The unit was first class down to every detail.The view was breath taking and the miles of quiet unspoiled beaches in both directions was perfect.
You would never find a more perfect place to stay along this coast.
Both our hosts were friendly and gracious.
Thanks again for a perfect relaxing holiday we will return

“Bliss on the Beach” May 2014
The facility is brand new construction. This would make a great honeymoon location. Great walk in showers, the beds and sheets are good quality, nice private balcony overlooking the beach, just step away from the beach, lovely decorator touches, great kitchen if you prefer to eat in plus a chacoal grill right out the door for grilling. New flat screen TV's with English/Spanish stations. We didn't want to leave the room. The sound of the surf was like taking a sleeping pill. We left the huge sliding glass doors open most of the time. Next time we stay here we'll buy more groceries at the store so we don't have to leave. Our hosts did everything to make the stay perfect.

“Fantastic Stay on Secluded Beach” October 2014
This place is the bomb! The hosts were great. They were around to chat, help direct us to local shopping and dining, helped us to schedule awesome massages in our room, and were very friendly and outgoing. Rooms are modern, clean and well stocked. You can't ask for a more secluded beach. It was almost as if we had our own private beach to ourselves for most of our stay. The low tides here are great for exploring the local invertebrate life and open up a huge private beach down the cliffs that are under water during high tide.
We will definitely be back and will recommend Casa Caracol to everyone we know.

This is a gem of a vacation rental property. It is indeed right on the beach and is beautifully and tastefully decorated with all mod cons. A huge amount of care and thought has been put into the apartments to ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay. We are a mature couple from Northern Ireland in Panama for our honeymoon. Just stayed a couple of days but wish we had longer. Cant thank the owners enough. Friendly, kind, and genuine people who really care about what they do.
If you are near Coronado stay here. You will be bowled over!!

“beach right in front of your condo!” July 2014
Mostly we really enjoyed it. Security is pretty lax which keep me in a low level of anxiety much of the time - if you want to sleep with the ocean breeze and not the air conditioner, you cannot lock your unit at all, and it's sitting right above the beach, with stairs between you and the sand. The safe also didn't work, so constantly had to carry all our $$ and passports everywhere. The unit itself is nice, kitchen worked well, the sound of the ocean wonderful. The beach is mostly deserted until we had a day of big waves and the surfers came out. Then on the weekend the day trippers also appeared, good for people watching from your patio.
The management is very responsive and helpful. The road down is an adventure the first time you drive it: beautiful, potholed, lots of locals around on the side of the road. You go down quite a ways before you get to the units.

At first we were not sure where we were driving to once we turned off the PanAmerican Hwy. The condo is very modern and well equipped. Our first night, the AC did not work, and I will admit, we were miserable. However, our host was very sympathetic and even offered us her room to sleep. The next day, the AC was repaired and what a difference it made. The view from our terrace was breathaking and we met some fantastic people who were staying there as well. Even went out for dinner with them. We walked on the beach and I would definitely come back here again. Our host was super. I am sure we will be back again!

“Heaven on the Pacific” March 2014
We stayed for two weeks in March and had a wonderful relaxing time sitting on the veranda of our one bedroom condo watching the sun rise every morning over Pacific. The water was warm but refreshing and clean. The unit was exactly as it was shown on the web and I could not be happier about that. We met interesting people at the condo and the owners were very helpful telling us how to get around. A car is necessary if you want to see the countryside, my husband was in his glory when he visited a cigar factory. The weather was very warm and I should have brought lighter cotton clothes - no long pants, short dresses would be better.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the owners are as lovely as the rooms. They were so gracious in making us feel at home. We ran out of juice and they provided their own. The view from the rooms is truly spectacular, the entire ocean is in front of you. The decorations in the room are of designer quality and the outdoor shower with a view of the ocean as you shower unforgettable. We would return anytime!

“Bliss on the Beach!” January 2014
Our Family spent 5 days at Corona Beach in Panama over the Christmas and New Year vacation. After the craziness of Panama City it was a real treat to find ourselves in this Oasis. On the lower level he has 2 studio suites and a one bedroom suite all have nicely appointed kitchens, spacious and clean bathrooms and are connected by a large balcony right on the beach. We rented the lower level as well as the sky view suite on the partially constructed 3rd floor. This room did not have a kitchenette but made up for it with the most amazing outdoor shower. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean & comfortable but our favorite feature was the outdoor shower on the 3rd floor. It was amazing to shower at night under the moon & stars as well as great fun during the day taking in the view.

We loved the location of Suites on the Beach. It was like having your own private beach. Very few people ever on it.When the tide went out you could walk around a corner to an even nicer, more secluded beach. Beautiful with cliffs and tide pools. Saw some amazing sea life. Our favorite were the star fish.
Had an issue when we first arrived with stove.(We like to cook our own breakfasts) It took a day to get that resolved.
Overall was a beautiful place. It has numerous dinning options within 15 to 25 minutes away. Owner was not there. But left a lot of info on area- supermarkets, dinning, activities etc. This was very helpful.

We loved this place so much we returned for two weeks in July 2013, actually trying three different suites during our stay, the 1BR, the studio we had previously last November, and the new "sky suite" on the third floor. All were wonderful. Still immaculate and tastefully decorated. The new sky suite has no kitchen but is on the third floor and has amazing floor to ceiling views of the beach, a private deck with table and chairs and a luxury outdoor shower lined with travertine tile, a glass block wall and rain showerhead. Imagine showering while looking out over the pounding surf. it was still warm at night and showering outdoors while looking at the stars was such a treat - what a memorable experience! There is a large mango tree in the front yard and we picked ripe mangoes and made our own fresh mango cocktails. Just love this place and highly recommend it over nearby Coronado "beach" where you really aren't on the beach at all. This a true beach luxury!

“First Class all the Way!” April 2013
Done to the nines! Both one bedroom unit & guests suites are truly fabulous & beautifully decorated. Everything looks brand new! We appreciated the bbq & all kitchen amenities very well thought out. We had everything we would have at home. We enjoyed the ocean view & wonderful breezes right on our own private terrace. Step right down the stairs to a huge beach that is mostly deserted. Thank you to our wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our conversations & the grand tour of the rest of their property which they are renovating. I can’t wait to see it when it is complete! It will truly be a work of art. We never heard the work being done, and our host would advise us what was being done & wanted to ensure we weren't bothered by any renovation noise.
A truly amazing experience that we will never forget. If you have the opportunity, don’t miss it! Luxury all the way!

“Hidden Gem” November 2012
My in-laws, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the two studio suites in November, 2012. (There is also a third 1-bedroom suite, and all 3 units are arranged as sort of a "walk out basement" of the owner's home.) The place is perfect for those looking for a non-resort style beachfront getaway. It felt private and luxuriously exclusive! I agree wholeheartedly with all the glowing reviews that have been posted so far in terms of location, view, amenities, quality, etc, so I won't repeat it all. I would like to add that we appreciated our hosts. They made their telephone & resources available when my husband needed to take a call for work. I echo the previous reviewer that Suites on the Beach is so good that I want to keep it a secret for myself! :)

“Five star accommodations for a three star price!” November 2012
The property is located approximately halfway between the busier Coronado and Santa Clara/Farallon resorts on a beach that is largely deserted. There are actually 3 vacation rental units on the property; we stayed in the middle studio suite and enjoyed talking to the other two sets of guests. The accommodations are exactly as described and pictured. Luxurious units right on the beach with the surf so close we Skyped our relatives in the US and took our laptop outside so they could hear the surf - to make them jealous. Lots of amenities, including your own lanai, beautifully appointed rooms with lovely furnishings, granite counter tops, kitchen with fridge, gas stove, microwave, toaster oven,coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, dishes chilled beer mugs, martini glasses (we cooked six meals during out stay), satellite flat-screen TV, flawless wi fi, AC, lovely bathroom, beach towels and a charcoal barbecue available for your use. Truly five-star accommodations at an incredible price.
Our hosts live upstairs and you felt like you were visiting family. They gave us lots of advice about living in Panama and made their washer available to us to do our laundry. The place is very quiet and private. This is an ideal location for couples who would like to get away. Walking east on the beach you find a long stretch of sand. Walking west is a rocky area for exploring tide pool sea life during low tide. The shosts also provided us with written recommendations for restaurants and places to purchase groceries nearby, as well as attractions. It is best to have your own car here as these restaurants and grocery stores are not in walking distance. We followed their advice to visit the Sunday Market in El Valle, about 45 minutes away and had a lovely time.
The upper floor this three-story house was under renovation, but we were never bothered by the construction. I only briefly hesitated to recommend this place because I fear it will become so popular it won't be available the next time we want to visit!

This peaceful Panama beach hide-a-way is absolutely fantastic! Wonderful Panama Pacific Ocean Beach Views - Make sure you don't miss the spectacular sunrise! Sweet Suites = very plush...1st class - granite counter tops & fine finishes. The non-stop gentle incoming ocean waves will lull you off to dreamland... Aaaah! The hosts are very accomodating... Believe me when I say - when you stay here, you will not want to ever leave!

After a week in Panama City, my wife and I were eager to get out of town for some rest and relaxation. What a treat to pull up to Suites on the Beach where we were greeted with smiles from the owners. We were in desperate need of a laundry. They provided us some trash bags (for said laundry) and brought us over to a local entrepeneur who was able to clean our clothes for a mere $5 charge. We hopped into our car the next day for the pick-up trip when the owner pulls up with our clean clothes in tow. He had picked them up, as "he was in the neighborhood". That's just one example of the generous nature of our hosts. The other reviewers share similar examples that we too benefitted from. Their good-natured conversation and, dare I say, friendship made the experience that much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The accommodations were clean, contemporary, well-furnished, and CLEAN! The view of the Pacific from the deck was spectacular. How incredible it was to sit outside with our coffee watching the sun rise up over the ocean. Memories of strolling the beautiful, isolated beach in the mornings and exploring near-by communities in the afternoon will be cherished for a long time to come.

This is an amazing place! The view, location, accomodation & decor, and most importantly, the hosts, add up to a 5 star experience. Panama has some spectacular scenery & Casa Caracol is world class.
We booked the one bedroom and it was so beautifuly decorated and furnished and also has a large terrace with an endless view of the ocean, we hated to leave. The owners have put their hearts & souls into their "Casa". Both are so entertaining lead such interesting lives & they love to share their experience with guests. We went on a tidepool exploration during low tide on the shore just steps away from our suite. It was sublime!
They gave us lots of great info about living in Panama as well as places to visit and great restaurants in the area.
Even if our hosts hadn't been so incredibly gifted, we would have had a wonderful time. The setting is perfect and guests have everything they need to escape and still have the comforts of home.
It was a memory we will treasure. Not many places in the world offer such luxury and unique learning experience as this!

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the proprietors. Our accommodations were modern and well maintained. Our hosts were extremely friendly and and their knowledge of the area added to our enjoyment. We made discoveries in the tidal pool with our host. Delightful! The beach was virtually deserted the entire time we were there. Heavenly!
